WELCOME, and thank you for visiting our website!

 ABOUT US
We're celebrating our 35th Anniversary!
The Southampton Township Business Association (STBA) is a not-for-profit business association. We exist to promote the exchange of business within the local community and to provide networking, advertising, and learning opportunities for our members; and to give back to our community in business-related ways.

MEETINGS
We meet the 4th Wednesday of each month, September through June, (3rd Wednesday in November and December), in a private room at the Red Lion Inn. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., but several members arrive early to enjoy a drink and conversation in the lounge.  Dinner is ordered individually from off of the menu, and a cash bar is available.  Dress is business casual.

HISTORY
STBA was founded in September 1977 by Charles Wells, Mel Black, and Hector Irick as a way for business people to come together and have a voice in the future of Southampton Township. STBA was incorporated on October 24, 1977 as a non profit organization.  In 2011, members of STBA voted to open membership up to all business owners.  Associate memberships are available for non-business owners who wish to participate.

JOINING STBA
We invite all Business Owners to join our organization.  Not sure if you want to join? Give us a call, or attend one of the meetings just to see what it's like!

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

We mail the STBA Business Directory to over 10,000 residents in 08088 each year; maintain a website listing our members, and offering consumers downloadable coupons, fliers and brochures, as well as a community calendar; host an Open House each fall to provide networking opportunities and to attract new members; support the Boy Scouts Car Show each May; award (2) 8th grade scholarships to Southampton grads pursuing an interest in business each June; participate in community events such as the Memorial Day Parade, Family FunFest, and the Vincentown Tree Lighting Ceremony each year.

We coordinated a Logo Design Contest for 4th-6th graders in 2007; raised over $8,000 for flood victims in 2004; erected and dedicated The Town Clock on Main Street in Vincentown in 2002; donated towards the Vincent Fire Company Emergency Trailer; helped to provide a scoreboard for Memorial Park; and ran the Rural Arts Collection for local artists – prints, key chains, and other items from this collection are available for purchase online at
