Liability Waiver
By participating in the South Texas Builders Association Skeet Shoot, I acknowledge that shooting sports involve inherent risks, including but not limited to accidental firearm discharge, flying debris, slips, falls, equipment failure, serious bodily injury, property damage, and death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and certify that I am legally permitted to possess and operate a firearm, will follow all range rules and safety instructions, and will conduct myself in a safe and responsible manner throughout the event.
In consideration of being allowed to participate, I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge the South Texas Builders Association (STBA), its officers, directors, members, volunteers, sponsors, event organizers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or causes of action arising from or related to my participation in this event, including those resulting from ordinary negligence to the fullest extent permitted by Texas law. I understand that I am responsible for my own actions, equipment, and medical expenses, and by signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this waiver.
